During their September 27th Council Meeting, the City of Peachtree Corners recognized the Gwinnett County Police Department Officers of the quarter.

Mayor Mike Mason issued the following Proclamation:

A DECLARATION OF THE CITY OF PEACHTREE CORNERS, GEORGIA RECOGNIZING GWINNETT COUNTY OFFICERS  

WHEREAS, Bradley Coleman, 29, tragically lost his life in Peachtree Corners on July 10, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Officers with the Crisis Response Team (CRT) unit of the Gwinnett County Police Department used FUSUS camera technologies in Peachtree Corners and the City of Atlanta and;

WHEREAS, officers quickly located the vehicle, conducted a stop, interviewed the individual in it, and located video footage in Atlanta that ultimately led to the probable cause and subsequent arrest of two suspects; 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DECLARED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Peachtree Corners that the officers involved in apprehending these suspects be recognized for their dedicated service and contribution to public safety.  It is further declared that the city commends Major Edward Restrepo, Cpl. Oscar Mancia, Cpl. Jonathan Bucknor and MPO Henry Mesa for their hard work immediately following the incident which led to the arrests.

SO DECLARED AND EFFECTIVE, this 27th day of September 2022.
